If you haven’t noticed yet, I’m a giant nerd when it comes to film photography. All you have to do to make my day is to tell me you want to go shoot some film. I seriously love this stuff!
About the only thing that I love more than getting to shoot film, is seeing someone else fall in love with it too. When my friend and fellow photographer Noi Tran started asking me about, I was crazy excited. Then when she told me she got a medium format film camera, I was even more excited. Then when she asked if I wanted get a model and do a film shoot with her, I was so excited I wanted to throw a chair! Of course I said yes!
And it just so happens that I’ve got a model in the family, the gorgeous and awesome Shanti Danes.
It being January in Georgia (which means unpredictable weather to say the least), Noi suggested shooting somewhere we could be indoors and outside. Shanti suggested the Curb Market in downtown Atlanta, and away we went!
